Q. What inspired you to pursue a career in music, and who were some of your earliest influences?
A: My first studio session I just fell inlove wit it just the science of creating a song I love it. And my earliest influences were rapper like Jay z and Nas, DMX ,Pac, Biggie you know the true pioneers of this game, just their styles and their pen was out of this world
Q. How do you balance staying true to your artistic vision with meeting the demands of the music industry and your fans?
A: Just be me that’s the most important thing and I think alot of artists today don’t realize that’s what you need to be true to one self , don’t go wit the flow be the flow
Q. What has been the most challenging aspect of your music career so far, and how have you overcome it?
A: learning the business, the music part is the easy part but the business is key in this game, this shit is 90% biz 10% music
Q. Your music often tackles personal and political themes – how do you hope your music will impact your listeners?
A: at the end of the day I just want to tell my story and what I been thru . Just because I kno there is people out there that are Goin thru the same thing .
Q. How has your music evolved over the course of your career, and where do you see your music heading in the future?
A: it has evolved tremendously. I listen to my first song I ever recorded and I listen to my music I record now and I’m like dam my shit is 20 times better , and that’s because I write I read , I’m a perfectionist so I have to do better then the last
Q. What is your favorite song or album that you’ve released, and why?
A: Troubled Timez. That is the realist shit I ever wrote . I still listen to that song and get the chills
Q. Can you tell us about any upcoming projects or collaborations that you have in the works?
A: right now I am working on my up and coming album “Hustlaz Story II ” this is gonna be my best body of work I Guarantee it.
Q. How do you approach live performances, and what do you hope to convey to your audience through your performances?
A: I have a pep talk with myself and get my mind right, and when i hit that stage its game time like when Lebron hits that court. Its my goal to make my audience feel every song
Q. How do you stay motivated and inspired to create music, and what advice do you have for aspiring musicians?
A: I have people that look up to me so me failing and not achieving my goals is out of the question. But I do want to tell up and comin artist not give up on ur dream no matter what people say , because if it was that easy they would be doing it to but that can’t because they don’t have that gift
