“My earliest memories of music are watching my brother and cousins freestyle, soaking it all in long before I ever thought I’d be on a track. But my actual debut happened out of pure necessity in the eighth-grade talent show. My friend got suspended right before the show, so I had to step up and fill his spot. That was the very first time I had to rap.”
